Job interview with SF!!

I have a job interview with SF on Tuesday of next week at 9am--please pray!

This has been such a blessing. I've wanted to work at State Farm since we knew we were going to be moving here. It's only .3 miles from home, the salary is comparable to where I was, and I will learn some valuable information that could be helpful to David's future agency. At first, I was told that there wouldn't be any openings until early fall, but, as you can see, God has other plans (the best ones) in mind and knows our needs. I am very grateful for this!

I will say, though, that I have been spinning my wheels lately because I'm used to being on the go, go, go!!! I'm having a hard time just relaxing and enjoying being at home. I need some new hobbies/things to do. Suggestions, please! :)

Thank you all for your prayers and love.

Libby

  1. you should make something :) I'm tring to find enough time to finish a book I'm writing for Ava (a little kids' board book) and a quilt that my mom's helping me with. I'm also making her baby food :) you obviously wouldn't need to do the baby food, but I think Sue crochets, so that's always fun!

  2. scrap booking, journaling....
    Grandma would say:
    1. Find a Bible study at a local church
    2. Volunteer at a library putting away books :)
    3. Volunteer at a nursing home

Oh and you can always call your sister for a laugh or two :)

  3. thanks everyone for the suggestions! I have been putting pictures together/scrap booking--kind of. I have been biking more, Charlie and I take a couple of walks a day, and P90x keeps me pretty busy and sore. But, i know i need to start volunteering, and i really want to learn to make my own jewelry.
